NEW JERSEY RISING REBELS

The Rising Rebels offer a developmental club program for serious baseball players who are looking to compete at a high level throughout the summer season.  Mid-week games and practices will be held at Fleury Field, located on the campus of the Delbarton School.  Each weekend, tournament play will provide players exposure to college coaches and professional scouts, while also allowing them to compete against elite players from all over the nation.

The instructional aspect of the game is the primary focus for the Rising Rebel program.  We want to ensure that our players are prepared, both physically and mentally, for the elite competition they will see in various tournaments, as well as mid-week games.  Therefore, practice time will be utilized to develop the five tools a baseball player needs: speed, arm strength, hitting for average, hitting for power, and fielding.  Our coaching staff will introduce various drills to accomplish advancement in each of these areas.  On average, practices will be held twice a week during the summer program.  Not only will this instruction help each player perform well in front of college coaches and professional scouts, it will also help them develop for their upcoming high school seasons.
