TOM BENNETT

Coach Bennett is a member of the Delbarton Baseball coaching staff and, prior to joining Delbarton, coached for four years at the Church Farm School in Exton, PA. He is a native of King of Prussia, PA where he played football, baseball and basketball. He was Captain of his high school and American Legion baseball teams and a member of the 2004 District I and II Championship football team.

Coach Bennett graduated Cum Laude from Drew University in 2011 and is currently pursuing his Masters in Education at Drexel University in Philadelphia, PA. He teaches US History at Delbarton and specializes in participatory learning techniques to make history more alive and relevant for his students. In addition to baseball, Coach Bennett also serves as the Junior Varsity Squash at Delbarton.

As Yogi Berra says, “Baseball is ninety percent mental. The other half is physical.” Coach Bennett uses his effective teaching skills to make sure player’s baseball brains are as strong as their bodies.
